上海のタクシーは悪徳が多い。
他の都市と比べて旅行者や外国人が多いことが理由なのかもしれないが、余り良い思い出がなく騙してでも儲けられるだけ儲ける、と言うのが基本との印象だ。
かつての華為・上海拠点は陸家嘴(Lujiazui)と言う金融街にあったので、磁浮(Maglev)、所謂、
リニアモーターの終着、龍陽路(Longyang road)駅から地下鉄で3駅ほどの場所だったが、金橋(Jingqiao)地区に引っ越してからはタクシーを使うため苦労が多かった。
上海は浦東(Pudong)国際空港がメインで同じ浦東にある金橋地区は近い上に人通りがなくタクシーとしては魅力がない。
空港からタクシーに乗車し行き先が金橋と分かるとドライバーはあからさまにイラついた様子を見せ態度が激変したものだった。

Shanghai's taxis are often unscrupulous.
This may be due to the fact that there are more tourists and foreigners compared to other cities,
but my impression is that I don't have good memories, so they just want to make as much money as they can by cheating.
Huawei's former Shanghai base was located in the financial district called Lujiazui,
so it was about three stops by subway from Longyang road station, the end of the Maglev,
so-called linear motor train. However, after moving to the Jingqiao area,
I had a lot of trouble using taxis. Pudong International Airport was the main airport in Shanghai,
and the Jinqiao area, which was also in Pudong, was close to the airport and had no traffic,
making it unattractive as a taxi. When I took a taxi from the airport and found out that the destination was Jinqiao,
the driver showed an openly irritated look and his attitude changed dramatically.
