2022年8月4日 上海のホテル1・金融街の高級ホテルを尻目に
顧客の開発拠点が上海の陸家嘴(Lujiazui)にあったのだが、ここは浦東(Pudong)にある金融街で高級ホテルの多い地区だったため安価なホテルを探すのに苦労した。
何度か中油大酒店(Zhongyou Hotel)に泊まったのだが、外見とロビーの豪華さの割に部屋はかなり古さを感じさせた。
元はホテル日航上海だったと聞いているが、相当に年数が経っているのだろう。家具や調度品は木を多用しているのだが、どうも立て付けがよろしくない。
同じエリアに中電大酒点(Zhongdian Hotel)があったが、同じく年季を感じさせるもののこちらの方が安く、コスパに優れていた。
確かホテル内に日本食レストランがあり、ここが朝食会場だった気がするが、随分前のことなので殆ど忘れてしまっている。

The customer's development base was in Lujiazui, Shanghai,
but it was difficult to find a cheap hotel because it was located in the financial district of Pudong,
an area with many luxury hotels. I've stayed at the Zhongyou Hotel on several occasions and found the rooms to be quite dated,
considering the exterior and the luxury of the lobby. I heard that it used to be Hotel Nikko Shanghai,
but it must have been a long time ago. The furniture and furnishings used a lot of wood,
but the installation was not good for some reason.
There was a Zhongdian Hotel in the same area, but it was cheaper and better value for money,
although it also had a sense of age. I believe there was a Japanese restaurant in the hotel,
and I thought this was the breakfast venue, but it was a long time ago, so I have forgotten most of it.
