2022年7月17日 朝食に生野菜が食べられる成都のホテル
成都の定宿だった天悦飯店(Tianyue Hotel)の朝食は別棟のカフェで食べる。
品数は多くないが生野菜が食べられるのとブラックコーヒーが飲める。生食の習慣がない中国では生野菜を食べる機会は貴重だ。
野菜を洗う水は気になったがバクバクといっぱい食べていた。
日本で中国人上司の寮に招かれて食事を振舞ってもらったことが何度かあるのだが、大量のミネラルウォーターを購入して調理に使用していた。
日本の水道水は飲めるんだよ、と言っても必ずペットボトルの水を使うところを見ると、中国の水道品質は推して知るべきだろう。
確かに中国では従業員に清潔な飲み水を提供するのが会社の義務と何処かで聞いた。中国では水が重要な要素なのかもしれない。
A hotel in Chengdu where you can eat raw vegetables for breakfast, July 17th, 2022
For the breakfast at the Tianyue Hotel, which was a regular hotel in Chengdu, I usually ate at a separate cafe.
There were not many items, but we could eat raw vegetables and drink black coffee.
Opportunities to eat raw vegetables are rare in China, where there is no custom of eating them raw.
I was worried about the water for washing vegetables, but I was eating a lot.
I have been invited to my Chinese boss's dormitory in Japan several times, he had treated meals.
He bought a large amount of mineral water and used it for cooking.
I said to him that Japan's tap water was drinkable, but he always used PET bottled water,
and then I could imagine the quality of China's water supply. Certainly,
I heard somewhere that in China it is a company's duty to provide clean drinking water to the employees.
Water may be an important factor in China.
