海外の街を歩くとその土地ごとに異なる匂いがある。マレーシアやシンガポール、ベトナムではドリアンの香りがそこかしこでする。
とても匂いの強い果物だ。ただ店先のドリアンの香りばかりではなく人々からもドリアンの匂いがする。
ドリアンは胃の中で直ぐに発酵を始めガスを出すようでゲップとなって人々から匂ってくるようだ。
ビールとドリアンを一緒に摂るとゲップの連発ですさまじい。
以前、沖縄・那覇の街で朝まで痛飲した翌日、ドリンク剤を買いに薬局へ行ったが、
薬局のオバチャンに「前日の晩に泡盛をいっぱい飲んだでしょう」とバレてしまった。
店に入ってきて直ぐに分かったらしい。泡盛の場合は汗になって体から染み出すようだ。

When you walk through a city overseas, you can smell different scents for each area.
The scent of durian is everywhere in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
It is a fruit with a very strong smell. It's not just the smell of durian at the storefront,
but the smell of durian from the people as well.
Durian seems to start fermenting immediately in the stomach and emit gas, and the smell of durian comes from the people by a belch.
If you take beer and durian together, you will get a lot of belching.
