2022年4月6日 ロシアのシェレメチボ空港
かつての冷戦でソ連上空の飛行が認められず、欧州便はアラスカ経由だったが、ある時期にモスクワ空港での給油が可能となった。
空港ロビーで暫し休憩となるのだが、空港には何もなく単に椅子があるだけ。銃を持った兵士が警備に当っているが、長身で肌の白い女性だった。
1軒だけの免税店に立ち寄ったが、レジは中年女性がいるだけでしかもノロい。直ぐに長蛇の列ができたが焦る様子もなく淡々と打っていた。
この女性は恰幅が良く警備の長身女性兵士とは対照的だ。ソ連女性は若い頃は肌が白く細身だが、ある年齢以降は急激に太る、とかつて聞いた。
多分、肉とバターが原因とのこと。レジ女性の観察でソ連と言う国が少し分かった気がした。

In the former Cold War, flights over the Soviet Union were not allowed, and European flights were via Alaska,
but at some point it became possible to refuel at Moscow Airport. There was a break in the airport lobby for a while,
but there was nothing at the airport but chairs. A soldier with a gun is on guard, but she is a tall,
white-skinned woman.
I dropped in a duty-free shop that was only one shop in the airport, but there was only one middle-aged woman in the casher,
and she had sluggish movement. She soon formed a long line, but she didn't seem to be impatient and her movement was still slow.
This woman was fat in contrast to a tall female soldier on guard.
I’ve heard from someone that Soviet women have very white skin and slender when they are young,
but they gain a lot of weight after a certain age. Probably due to meat and butter.
By observing the cashier women, I felt that I could understand a little about the country called the Soviet Union.
