2022年4月3日 昔のフライトの決まりごと
かつての海外フライトは2時間前までのチェックインが必須であった。
加えてリコンファメーションと言って、搭乗日の数日前までに搭乗意志を航空会社に宣言する必要があった。
これらが無くなったのは何時だったか思い出せないが、間違いなく1990年代前半にはあった。
更に欧州フライトは必ずアンカレッジに寄って給油していた。
これは、当時のソ連、現在のロシア上空を避けた飛行ルートのためだが、そのアンカレッジ寄港が相当に無駄且つ暇な時間だった。
免税店の女性達が日本語で盛んにタバコや酒、化粧品等を売り込むのだが買う気のない者には苦痛だ。
まして業務出張者にとっては地獄の時間だったが、ある時期から給油寄港はなくなった。
