荷物を紛失したカンタス航空には2度と乗らない代わりに良く乗っていたのがアンセット航空だ。
日本で言えば旧ナショナルフラッグキャリアの日本航空がカンタス、
新興で国内便主体から海外展開を始めた全日空がアンセットオ－ストラリアと言うイメージが正しいかもしれない。
オーストラリア国内移動は全てアンセットを使っていたし、日本便も関空行きだったので不便だったが乗っていた。
何よりアンセットオーストラリアの地上職員の冬のユニフォームが紺色のロングコートに紺のアクーブラでカッコイイのだ。
平均的に長身のオーストラリア人である。とても似合っていた。そんなアンセットオーストラリアの破綻は悲しいニュースだった。
