2022年3月4日 宮古島から帰れない …
宮古島へは往路・復路共に那覇経由で予約した。帰路の那覇行きフライトはJTAとANKがあり10分早いJTAを予約したが、
当日は搭乗に時間を要したJTAが遅れて出発した。30分のフライトだがなかなか降下せず遥か下に那覇空港が見える。
アナウンスがあり先行するANK機が照明をなぎ倒して滑走路閉鎖になったため宮古空港に引き返した。
翌日には大事な顧客打合せがあるので夜の羽田直行便に切り換えた。当初からこの便を予約した同僚と共に搭乗したがその揺れること、
飲み物をサービスしているアテンダントがシートに倒れ込むほどだった。
那覇と宮古島間の低空フライトでは問題のないボーイング737型だが宮古島・羽田間の距離にはこの小型機はかなり苦しいようだ。
I cannot come back from Miyakojima …, March 4th, 2022
I made a reservation for Miyakojima via Naha on both the outbound and inbound routes.
There were JTA and ANK on the return flight to Naha, and I booked JTA which would depart 10 minutes earlier,
but on the day of the flight, JTA, which took time to board, departed late. It's a 30-minute flight,
but it doesn't descend easily and Naha Airport can be seen far below.
There was an announcement and the preceding ANK aircraft knocked down the lights and closed the runway,
so I should go back to Miyako Airport.
The next day, I had an important customer meeting, so I switched to a direct flight to Haneda at night.
I boarded with a colleague who booked this flight from the beginning,
but the aircraft was shaking badly and the attendant serving drinks collapsed into the seat.
There is no problem with low-flying flights between Naha and Miyakojima,
but the Boeing 737 seems to be quite difficult for the distance between Miyakojima and Haneda.
