2022年1月17日 アルジェリアのホテルでは
アルジェでは駐在員事務所にいちばん近いホテルを取ってくれた。決してきれいではないが便利だと事務所長も言っていたし合流した営業担当の人も同じホテルに宿泊していた。
部屋は広くてマァマァきれいなのだがトイレが曲者で共同なのだが水洗にも係わらず流れていない。
配管が詰まっても直さずに、そのまま後から後から宿泊客が用を足すようだ。
共同トイレがそんな状態なので風呂で用を足す人が多いようで、部屋の風呂は使わない方が良いと所長からの言葉。共同トイレの床にはゴキブリが這っているのだが、
これが日本のとは異なりノソノソしていて何時でも踏み潰せそうな感じ。決して快適とは言い難いがそんな経験を楽しんだ。

In Algiers, someone took the hotel closest to the representative office. The representative office manager said that it wasn't clean,
but it was convenient, and the sales staff who joined us stayed at the same hotel.
The room was large and clean, but the toilet was shared and terrible. It didn't flush despite washing with water.
Even if the plumbing was clogged, it seemed that the hotel didn’t fix it and the guests added more afterwards
Since the shared toilet was in such a state, it seemed that there were many people who used the bath instead,
and the representative office manager said that it was better not to use the bath in the room.
Cockroaches were crawling on the floor of the toilet, but unlike Japan, they were moving slowly and we could step on them at any time.
It was hard to say that it was comfortable, but I enjoyed such an experience.
