2022年1月11日 中国企業の出張期間は何故無意味に長い?
中国企業の海外出張期間は何故か一週間で、一週間で不足ならば一週間追加と一週間単位の設定だった。
日本なら迅速に現地の仕事を片付けて即座に帰国するのが有能と評価されるが、中国では仕事完了後も現地に留まらなければならない。
確かにIT設備が完備され日本のPCにもアクセスできチャットやメール等の通信手段も整っていて仕事はできるが無意味に現地に留まるのは苦痛だ。
中国人の同僚に理由を聞いたが、海外出張は旅費が高額で勿体無い、と訳の分からない回答だった。無用なホテル代がかかるよ、と言ったら黙ってしまった。
どうもこれも暗黙の了解のようで誰も納得のいく説明をしてくれなかった。未だに理由は分からない。

For some reason, the overseas business trip period of Chinese companies was one week, and if one week was insufficient,

we have to stay in the field even after the work is completed. Certainly, it is fully equipped with IT equipment, can access Japanese PCs,
and has communication means such as chat and email, so it is possible to work, but it is painful to stay in the field meaninglessly.
I asked a Chinese colleague why, but he didn't give a clear answer and just said that traveling abroad was expensive and wasteful.
He shut up when I said that it would cost a useless hotel fee. Apparently this was also an unwritten rule,
and no one gave a convincing explanation. I still don't know why.
